this afternoon

Murphy's first day out was an all around success. He took to riding up front with ease. When we got to the park, he and bandit became instant friends. He was an angel off leash, always right at my heel and if not, definitely at my beck and call, looking up at me adoringly. He made friends with all of the dogs and people that we met along our walk. He did shoulder dive into something that was a bit greasy and I washed it off of him when we got home. I had no troubles when we turned around to head back to the car. He is a dream. I wish I had four more just like him to fill out his walking group.

wednesday afternoon

This afternoon I took Bandit and Luna up to the meadow on Panoramic. The grass was very high and these two LOVED! springing through it. I joined in on a mad game of chase that got me quite warm despite the breeze. Luna loves playing chase and I think she could have gone at it with me all day. Tomorrow Pace will be joining us, hopefully they can wear each other out instead of wearing me out. Bandit also enjoyed a crazy race around the field. Bandit is getting quicker at his fast down, but Luna is barely motivated to sit. We'll work more on it tomorrow.

Tuesday afternoon

Here's a picture of Luna from her walk this afternoon with Parker. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of Parker as well. He was very happy, we played with an actual ball today so mostly he was in and out of the creek and sopping wet by the end of his walk. Luna did jump in the creek briefly but seemed upset that it was so wet.

This afternoon

Today I started working with Bandit on a fast down. This is a down without the intermediate sit. The hope is that one day he will be so good at "down" that if he gets too riled up playing I can call out "down" and he'll drop into this lovely position. I am working on fast downs with all of my regular walking clients.

wednesday afternoon

Yay! We were joined by a new client, Luna. Luna is a lovely little Chihuahua Terrier X. She's quite shy of strangers but is good about sticking close to me on the trail. She loved exploring the woods and even chased and played with Bandit. Welcome Luna!
